Program Description
SPEAKER: Charles J. Brown III, Franklin Covey
TOPIC: The 4 Disciplines of Execution
Why Has Strategic Execution Remained a Problem for so Many Years? The answer is in the challenge and the challenge is not just to execute on a goal… the challenge is to execute on a goal in the midst of the ‘whirlwind!’
Organizations, divisions, and teams all tend to have good, even great, strategies or plans. What they most often struggle with is the ability to execute the plan. Have you ever had one of those weeks that you come home dragging from the constant grind of the days rushing over you. Exhausted, you pause and say, “I didn’t get anything done this week,” but you worked all week long? What you mean is that you didn’t get anything done that was important to YOU. In today’s world, the success of organizations depends on having leaders that can produce world-class results time after time. The 4 Disciplines of Execution gives leaders the capability to ‘hit it out of the park’ over and over again. Charlie Brown of Franklin Covey will present the 4 Disciplines and you will gain knowledge that, if applied, will deliver consistent and constant success, results that MATTER.
SPEAKER: Mike Locher, Senior Partner, Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP
TOPIC: 2011 Tax Credits and Financial Incentives
The list of tax incentives and credits available to both businesses and individuals can be very long and confusing. Mike’s presentation will review those most likely to benefit our members in either a business setting or in their personal lives; and will include forms and internet resources to help capitalize on opportunities.
